Quick Quiz: An Exciting Multiplayer Mode Focused on Your Lesson Content

Prodigy now offers an engaging new Math game mode to help students stay on task and complete content aligned with your lesson plan! Quick Quiz, available in your Teacher Account, links seamlessly with students' in-game Wizard Dash, providing a more fun and engaging way to interact with your assigned skills.

Lead quick, whole-class review, tailored to the topics you're teaching in class, and immediately gain insight on student comprehension in one sitting!

How does it work?

By setting up a Quick Quiz in your Teacher Account, logged in students will be pulled into the Wizard Dash area automatically, where they'll be provided with your Math content in a race against up to 30 classmates. Students select their pet team and race through a series of battle stages, competing to be the first to complete the match. Players receive Loot Bags as they race towards the finish line, offering fun in-game rewards after the match - successful streaks of correct answers offer more Loot Bags and rewards!

Setting up a Quick Quiz

1. Log in to your Prodigy Teacher Account.  If you need help with this, more information can be found in this article.

2. If you have more than one class, select your desired class in the top-right corner of your screen. Ensure Math is selected as your chosen subject:

5. You'll be prompted to select up to 6 skills to include in your Quick Quiz. You can choose to add an optional title to your Quick Quiz; if you don't, a title based on your skill selections will be displayed. If you wish, you can alter the curriculum and grade level of content you'd like to provide your students. Once you've made your selections, press the Next button to continue. You can also save your selections if you don't want to start your Quick Quiz until later:

6. Once you've made your skills selections and pressed the Next button, you'll be shown your Quick Quiz "lobby", where you can view your students' online status. Students must be logged into Prodigy and online to be pulled into Wizard Dash for your Quick Quiz. Offline students will not be provided the Quick Quiz.

If a student is displayed as "Busy", they are in an area of the game that they cannot be pulled out of immediately. For example, they may still be completing the initial in-game tutorial, or they may actively be engaging in a battle. Busy students will be pulled into Wizard Dash to work on your Quick Quiz as soon as they've finished their current in-game task.

When you're ready to start the Quick Quiz, select Start game in the upper-right corner of your screen:
