How-to: Apply a Grade Override on a Student Account

Here are some instructions on how to set a Grade Override on a Student's account:

1. Go to Prodigy and select Login from the top right portion of the page so that you can log into your teacher account.
2. Enter your registered e-mail address and password and select Login.
3. Select All classes at the bottom left of your screen:
   
   

4. Locate the classroom of the student(s) you'd like to apply a Grade Override to, and select Enter class. 

   

5. Select the Students from the left-hand menu.
   
   

6. Within your student roster, locate the student you'd like to apply a Grade Override to and select the Edit button under the Action heading:

7. Select the drop-down menu under “Grade Override”, then select the desired grade. Grade Overrides can be set for Math and English individually.

8. Click Save to apply the Grade Override.

Please Note:

Applying a Grade Override to a student's account will stop their Placement Test in favour of the selected grade. Learn more in this article.
