What is Arcadia?

Prodigy Arcadia is a collection of games assembled in one convenient location that allows our educational content to be tied to a wider variety of gaming experiences. With a collection of 16+ games across multiple genres, we hope to appeal to a wider variety of students with the goal in mind of making learning both fun and rewarding!

How does Arcadia work?

Upon navigating to Arcadia, students will be able to select a variety of games from different genres that they can play that all contain our educational content within:

After selecting a game, students will be able to play and answer questions periodically within the game in order to progress further. While those without a membership can only play within Arcadia for a set period of time per day, those with a membership can continue to play all Arcadia games without any restriction.

Find your Game: 15+ games. Many genres: Survivor, puzzles, farming, tower defense, and more. Every player finds their fit. With new games monthly there’s always something fresh.

Social and Multiplayer: Play with friends. Compete on leaderboards. Earn exclusive rewards.

Safe Environment: No ads. No chat. No strangers. COPPA compliant. Common Sense Media Seal. Parents’ Choice Award.

Standards Aligned: Every game reinforces math skills and aligns to your curriculum.

 

FAQ

How do students access Prodigy Arcadia?

There are two ways users can access Arcadia:

  1. Simply visit our website at www.prodigygame.com and select Play the Game. If you already have a Prodigy account, you can log in using those same credentials! If not, you’ll need to create an account, which is completely free. If you’re playing from Home, you’ll also be asked to enter a parents’ email so they can provide permission for you to play.

    After you’ve created your account or logged in, you’ll be shown a menu where you can select whether you want to play Prodigy Math, Prodigy English. Math Facts or Arcadia:

  2. Select Arcadia as pictured above, and you’ll be invited to create and customize your character, with a diverse range of options available. You’re then ready to begin your Prodigy English learning journey! 

  3. If already within the Math Game, a user can visit their 'Map' to travel directly from the Math World into Arcadia:

Is there an Arcadia mobile app?

While at this time there is no native app available, students can access Arcadia on their tablet or mobile device through their browser. 

If a user logs into Prodigy and they are not able to locate a screen where they can select Arcadia as an option - they are likely using the app to play, and need to navigate to a browser instead.

Can students interact with each other in Arcadia?

There are certain games we will be releasing that feature the ability for students to play against one another, but most of that play is done independently. At this time, there is no way for students to communicate with one another within Arcadia

Does Arcadia contain Educational Content?

Yes!! Much like all of our other games available, Educational Content is embedded within the games featured in Arcadia. After reaching certain milestones or time allotments, students will receive a question aligned to their current grade/curriculum

As a Teacher, do I have the ability to restrict access or set the frequency of questions provided?

At this time, teachers do not have the ability to affect the parameters around the access or frequency of questions for Arcadia

As a Teacher, do my students still work on the Assignments I set when playing in Arcadia?

Yes, questions set from Assignments or the Placement Test will still show up for students playing within Arcadia.
