What is the Prodigy Premium Membership?

The premium memberships unlock additional in game content with the intent on keeping players more engaged with the program.  There are many perks that the student will receive, many of which are listed below:

  • The player has the ability to catch all 100+ pets (The limit without a membership is 10)
  • Ability to evolve their pets
  • Unlock member-only treasure chests
  • Access Member Only items
  • Explore the infamous Dark Tower
  • Level up 50% faster
  • Extra prize wheel spins each day
  • New member-only content monthly
  • Ride an exclusive cloud mount
  • And more!!

The more engaged and excited they are the longer they play and the more they learn. The premium memberships are optional and not required to play Prodigy.

How do I join?
To sign up for a Prodigy Premium Membership, you can login to your parent/teacher account and click the Membership option or go to https://www.prodigygame.com/membership/

If you've already registered a parent or teacher account with us, then you can login from our homepage prior to initiating the purchasing process. 

Select the type of membership you'd like to purchase, such as monthly or annual.

If you have not previously created a parent or teacher account with us or if you have not logged into your account, you will be asked to input your child's username and password in order to identify which account the membership will be applied to. 

(If your child uses Google credentials to login, please select "My Child uses Google to log into Prodigy" from the bottom of the window.)

 

If you have logged in, you can select from any of the student accounts that have been paired with your account by selecting "Select Child" next to their name in the list.

You will now see a summary of which students are set to receive the membership. If you'd like to purchase an additional membership, then you can do so from this page by selecting "Add another child" and repeat the previous step. 

Enter in your payment information and select "Review Purchase".  

Prodigy accepts: Visa, MasterCard and American Express (Pre-paid variants of each of these brands can also be used but must have the ability for international use.) 

Review your order and make sure the type and number of memberships desired is correct before finalizing your purchase. 

If you so desire, change the membership type using of the drop down menu under "Plan".  

If you are satisfied, select "Complete your Purchase!". 

That's it! You have now purchased and applied your membership! We think you'll see the benefits of being a Prodigy Premium Member in no time, in the way your child or student engages with the game and its content. 

 


How many children/students does a membership cover? 
Each Prodigy membership can only be applied to single student account at a time. If you'd like to have more than one account have a membership simultaneously then each will account will need to have its own membership.

Please note that 100% of the educational content for the student accounts, parent accounts and teacher accounts is free.

What payment types are accepted?

The following forms of payment are accepted for membership and toy purchases made on prodigygame.com:

All payments will be billed in USD unless you are located in Canada, in which case the membership fees will be converted to CAD when showing up on your credit card statement.

  • American Express®
  • MasterCard®
  • Visa®

Please Note: Partial/split payments cannot be made/accepted at this time.

* We are not able to accept payment cards that require the entering of pin numbers to approve payments such as debit cards.

* If you are planning on purchasing a membership from outside of Canada, please ensure that your card is authorized to make international payments. This includes pre-paid credit cards.

When will I get charged?

You can verify your next billing date by logging into your parent account and reviewing your membership page.

How do I change my card info?

If you'd like to update your credit card information to continue your membership, you can give us a call and we can update your payment information over the phone.

Account changes

 

How do I view my subscription status?

You can verify your subscription status by logging into your parent account and reviewing your membership page.  This will show you one of the following and the date associated with the status.  Please see the examples below:

Recurring:

This membership is still active, and will automatically renew on the date listed.

Cancelled:

This membership is still active, and will revert to the free version of Prodigy on the date listed.

Expired:

This membership is now expired, and reverted to the free version of Prodigy on the date listed.

How do I change my subscription plan?

To change your subscription plan, you merely need to cancel your current plan, and sign up for the new plan via your dashboard.  If you are eligible for a refund on your currently plan when you are making the switch, you will need to contact our customer service department to have this refund applied.

 


How do I cancel?

You'll need to access your parent/teacher account in order to complete these steps. If you didn't have an account when you purchased your membership, one was created for you. If you've never logged into your account or can't remember your password you'll need to reset it. For instructions to do so please click here.

Please note: Our memberships are recurring ones and will renew automatically at the end of the period purchased unless cancelled prior to the renewal date. For more information regarding our membership renewal policy, click here.


You can cancel your membership at any time.  Once you have cancelled, your membership benefits will expire at the end of your billing cycle and you'll receive an emailed confirmation of your cancellation.

Login to your parent/teacher account at https://www.prodigygame.com and select the "Login" button at the top right of the page. Enter your account details and select "Login" to enter the site.

If you want to cancel, make sure to hit the "Cancel Membership" option next to the student's name whose premium account you would like to cancel. Then select "Cancel Membership" from the pop-up menu to confirm, otherwise the changes will not be processed! (You will get an email confirming your cancellation as well) Once your subscription is cancelled, you won’t be charged for future renewals.

That's it, your membership benefits will expire at the end of your billing cycle and you'll receive an emailed confirmation of your cancellation. You can always sign-up again by visiting our membership page located at https://www.prodigygame.com/Membership
